Save the Chimps’ 9th Annual Chimpathon needed fresh event branding. I designed a new logo, medal, and t-shirt graphics that elevated the race experience while supporting their mission of chimpanzee care and conservation.

Problem :

Although the Chimpathon was a well-loved annual event, its branding had become outdated and lacked the excitement needed to attract participants and reflect the organization’s mission. Save the Chimps needed a refreshed visual identity that would energize the event and connect with both runners and supporters.

Solution :

I created a dynamic new logo, medal, and t-shirt design that captured the energy of the race while highlighting the cause behind it. Consistent, bold visuals helped unify the event’s identity, elevate the participant experience, and strengthen the connection between the race and Save the Chimps’ mission.

Challenge:

The challenge was to create a visual identity that seamlessly combined two very different themes: chimpanzee conservation and the excitement of a running event. The designs needed to capture the spirit of the race while still staying true to the mission of Save the Chimps.

Summary :

For Save the Chimps’ 9th Annual Chimpathon, I was tasked with elevating the event’s branding to better engage participants and highlight the organization’s mission.
